Simply, we must stay attached to the evolutionary thinking, no matter what, and interpret everything according to it. Here we have a bird not unlike some today, like the Rhea, though smaller, and instead of saying, "Oh, look-a small, flightless bird-how nice!", we call it a dinosaur with feathers. All because we must live according to the dictates of evolutionary thinking. Maybe God just made it that way because He wanted it so.
