Man died in labyrinth of his own garbage

British eccentric died of thirst after he was lost in the labyrinth of tunnels that was in his house built of garbage, reported today insular media

Investigators believe that the labyrinth was so complicated that its builder Gordon Stewart (74) could not find the exit, and died of dehidratation.

Neighbors called police after him for several days were not seen him. The police last week called help from diving team because the stench that is spreading his house and neighborhood in Broughton was unbearable. In his house, found the whole network of tunnels built from the garbage in putridity. Stewart’s dead body, confined within his own creations, discovered by members of the team’s equipped with bottled oxygen.
Local residents say that it is often sawing him on the bike goes around surrounding streets. One neighbor said that he was eccentric, but very bright. “He is a collector. Returning home with cardboard boxes and lived in his world. ”

Stewart was collecting trash for more than ten years. Through its windows clearly could be seen piles of old furniture, computer parts, boxes and plastic bags. In the garage is a parked car from 1950s and it’s buried within garbage.

Police announced that in his death have not discovered any suspicious circumstances. It is believed that he had no close relatives.
